How do I apply?

All rooms for international undergraduates and postgraduates are allocated by the International Office.

International Full Degree Students

International Undergraduates/Postgraduate students are advised to:

Accept your offer and pay tuition fees within six weeks of the offer being made in order to guarantee accommodation.  Once at least half tuition fees are covered,  you will be sent a "private link" to complete the accommodation application.  For more information on the allocation process, please contact the International Office directly at international.office@dcu.ie.

International Exchange Students

Most on-campus accommodation has been already allocated.

If rooms do become available before the start of the next academic year, they are offered to students on the waitlist by a lottery. Exchange Students may apply to join the waitlist by creating a profile with the Accommodation Service DCU Rooms and emailing your request to campus.residences@dcu.ie copying international.office@dcu.ie

As a room on-campus cannot be guaranteed, we strongly advise exchange students to explore all off-campus accommodation options.

For more information on the allocation process, please contact the International Office directly at international.office@dcu.ie.

Please ensure you have your visa in place prior to booking on campus accommodation, as cancelling the room after the arrival date may result in loss of the deposit should the visa application be denied.
